Our Tukutuku Notebook is inspired by the traditional Māori weaving technique: tukutuku. This specific design is known as Poutama ("stairway to heaven" or "stairway to knowledge"), which represents an ascending staircase - symbolising genealogies, growth, progress and the various levels of continuous learning.
